Hull & District Talking Magazine
Serving the Blind and Partially-sighted in Hull and the East Riding
How You Can Help Us
As we are a charity, we depend on support from
people like yourselves. We do not get any government support or funding. Below
are a few ways you could help us to keep up the work we do. Every donation, no
matter how small all goes towards the production of our fortnightly news tapes and magazines.
None of our volunteers is paid a wage; their
time is given freely.
Perhaps you could help by: -
1. Holding a fund raising event for us, such as a coffee morning or sale of
work.
2.
Sending in a donation. If you would like to do this please make cheques payable
to Hull & District Talking Magazine and send to 25, Portland Street, Hull,
HU2 8JX. Please include your name and address so we can send
a receipt.
3.
Saving your odd coppers in a jar.
4.
A legacy from a will.
If you are local to Hull, maybe you could become a volunteer. If so print out the volunteer
form, fill it in and send it to us.
If you know of anyone who would like to receive any of our tapes or if you know
anyone who would like to help us please let us know.
Anyone in the UK, who qualifies for the talking magazine service, can receive our tape.
They do not have to live in Hull or the East Riding. Just print out the Listener
Application Form, fill
it in and send it to us. The address is on the form.
